Located on the corner of Ponderosa Road and Temple Avenue, Boys and Girls Club of Camarillo has been around since 1967. Since then the club has expanded and changed to meet the needs of Camarillo's children. The Boys and Girls Club of Camarillo is open to young people between the ages of six through eighteen. Their mission is to provide these young members an inspiring program so the children can learn a sense of responsibility, consideration, and productivity. The Boys and Girls Club of Camarillo is free to all youth in Camarillo, however they do appreciate a yearly fee of $60.
The current location of the club is on a 1.2 acre lot adjacent to Camarillo's Pleasant Valley Park. This facility provides our kids a learning center, homework room, game room, gymnasium, theater, and a teen center. During the school year, from September-May, the club is open from 1:30 PM to 7:00 PM Monday-Friday. In the summer, June-August, the club is open from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday-Friday. The Staff at the Camarillo's Boys and Girls Club are adamant about up keeping the safe environment they have
created. Adults who enter the club can not pass the registration desk unless they sign in and then each adult has to wear a badge as they enter the club.
The Boys and Girls Club of Camarillo is more than a place where your kids meet after school. It is a club where your child's artistic talent can flourish. He/she can learn about the importance of life and improve on his/her life skills.

The Boyes and Girls Clubs are wonderful programs and provide a place for children to engage in productive activities. The price is incredible. Thanks for promoting this program.
Mana, when my kids grew up I didn't think as much about groups for kids other than Scouts. It is great to see other organizations out there that are working for the kids.
Susie, People of Camarillo are very supportive of their Boys and Girls Club even if they don't have any children that attend the club.
Cynthia, They are our future, we need to support a program that engages our children, as you mentioned, in productive activities.
Teri, You are right, I had forgotten about that.
Stephanie, The staff at the Boys and Girls Club have a variety of activities planned each day for the kids that attend.
Chris, Yes we do, thank you.
Paula, $60 is nothing and is a money well spent.
Joanne, The Boys and Girls Club is a place for children to go to after school hours, when parents are still at work and the parents need a more organized and productive place for their children.
'We need a Teen Center in Camarillo and the Old Camarillo Library would be a perfect spot for it.
They have one in the Boys and Girls Club but the young kids use it. Go to the CamarilloTeenCenter.com and fill out the Questionare with your thoughts.
Mana,
Glad to hear that the Boys and Girls Club in your area is helping to support the children and young adults. We have a local club and I always see them at local parades and area activities.
