Comments

All communities should do this to ensure that these hazardous materials are properly disposed of.  Many people are not ver conscientious when it comes to the environment and many are simply uninformed.  This service should be mandatory nationwide.

Mana, this is a great idea, because most people don't know how to properly dispose of this material, and that includes the new CFL bulbs.

Hi Mana,

Good information. I like the idea that it's a scheduled pick-up, that way locals can plan on it.

Pat, I agree. I believe in order to make this a habit, recycling should become available and easy for the consumers first.

Gary, That's very true. Making programs like this available to a community and educating a community seems a must these days.

Lynda, Me too. I hope this way people get in the habit of making the call.

Hi Mana,  this is a fantastic program!  This is all nasty stuff, just imagine it getting in to the water table. Bleckh.  :)
